Cytokine & Growth Factor Bioactivity – We are particularly interested in understanding the regulation of specific growth factors and cytokines through proteolytic processing within the cellular microenvironment.  The majority of this work is performed in vivo using physiological models of tissue remodelling, inflammation and tumorigenesis, coupled with the study of specific signalling pathways in primary cell cultures.
